Stationary Beam
The Fixed Beam Delivery System is a highly integrated treatment environment in which two types of beam delivery systems can be used.

The first beam delivery system treats tumors associated with the head and neck.

The second beam delivery system treats tumors of the eye.

In both systems, the beam delivery system is fixed relative to the room. Therefore, the patient is moved relative to the beam delivery system in order to provide treatments at various angles.

Before treatment begins, the patient must be immobilized using one of the specialized methods of immobilization, which consists of vacuum controlled bite-blocks and frames.
