Optivus' proprietary technologies have allowed the Loma Linda University Medical Center's (LLUMC) facility to accomplish many impressive advancements over any other treatment center in the world. LLUMC has treated thousands of proton patients over the last fifteen years; reporting their results and incorporating advances to maintain its leadership role in proton radiation treatment. PROLITPROLIT is a searchable database of abstracts culled from Medline. A simple boolean engine searches PROLIT according to the user's search terms and returns a list of abstracts, each linked to Medline's free PubMed service. ProLit is intended for radiation professionals who care for patients with cancer and other conditions that can be treated with radiation. Researchers and patients interested in studying heavy-particle therapy, (protons, other hadrons and heavy ions) may also find it useful. PubMedPubMed is a service of the National Library of Medicine that includes over 16 million citations from MedLine and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed links to full articles and related sources. |
